The Textile Centre of Excellence manages projects on behalf of the Learning & Skills Council, Yorkshire Forward and other agencies.

The Centre has an unrivalled reputation in partnership working, as highlighted in the Mission Statement –

To develop and provide access to a broad range of top quality workforce development and business support services for individuals, member organisations, client companies and the local community. Working closely with private and public sector partners to bring forward new learning opportunities, encouraging inclusion and participation and supporting personal and economic development.

The project team are experienced in project management, and use the local businesses and support agencies to feed into protect proposals, in order to ensure it is the direct business community, amongst others, who benefits from the funding we bring into the area. The Textile Centre has secured funding of up to 60% against training costs for eligible businesses in Yorkshire and the Humber.
